Privacy, security & how your data is used
I'm Katya — the one person behind My Clever Pages. I wrote this page myself to answer common questions about how I handle your information when you order a personalized book. I only collect what I need to create your book, and I permanently delete it once your book is delivered.
What I collect
- Your child's first name, age, and any dedication or family details you share.
- Photos you upload so I can create the personalized illustrations.
- Order, shipping, and contact details you enter at checkout.
How your data is used
I use the details you share only to create, preview, and ship your personalized book, and to email you about your order. I never sell your data, and I never use your child's photos or details for marketing.
Storage & access
- Uploaded photos are stored in a private bucket — they are not publicly accessible.
- Uploads are restricted to image files and constrained to your order folder.
- I'm the only person who accesses your files, and only to create your book.
Payments
Checkout and payment processing are handled by Shopify. I don't see or store your full card details.
Retention & deletion
Your child's photos and personal details are collected only during the creation of your book. Once your book has been delivered, I permanently erase and delete the photos and personal details from my systems. I keep only the minimum order record Shopify needs for receipts and returns.
