Privacy, security & how your data is used
This page is maintained by our team to answer common questions about how we handle your information when you order a personalized book. It describes the controls we currently have in place — it is not an independent certification or audit report.
What we collect
- Your child's first name, age, and any dedication or family details you share.
- Photos you upload to help us create the personalized illustrations.
- Order, shipping, and contact details you enter at checkout.
How your data is used
We use the details you share only to produce, preview, and ship your personalized book, and to contact you about your order. We do not sell your data and we do not use your child's photos or details for marketing.
Storage & access
- Uploaded photos are stored in a private bucket — they are not publicly accessible.
- Uploads are restricted to image files and constrained to your order folder.
- Only authorized members of our team can access uploaded files to fulfill your order.
Payments
Checkout and payment processing are handled by Shopify. We do not see or store your full card details on our systems.
Retention & deletion
You can ask us to delete the photos and personal details associated with your order at any time after it has shipped. Contact us using the email on our site and we'll confirm once it's done.
